Go North on Hwy 101 across the Golden
Gate Bridge, past San Rafael and take
the Lucas Valley Road exit.
From the off ramp, turn left and go west for 10 miles
until you dead end into Nicasio Valley Road.
Turn right, wind through the picturesque village of
Nicasio, and proceed until you dead-end at Point Reyes/
Petaluma Road, a distance of 4 miles.
Turn left and proceed pass the reservoir to the next
stop sign, a distance of 3 miles.
Turn right and cross a small cement bridge covered
with graffiti, and proceed 3 miles to the next stop
sign.
At the stop sign, turn left onto Route One/Shoreline
Hwy. Youll pass through the town of Point Reyes
Station. As you leave town, immediately after passing
over a green bridge, turn right heading towards "Inverness"
(this is Sir Francis Drake Blvd., but the road sign
is often missing). Continue a little over one mile,
and look for a green city sign saying: Inverness Park.
Just around the next bend, you'll be taking a left
onto Vallejo Avenue. Busy Bee Bakery and the Inverness
Park Grocery/Perry's deli are located on the corner.
The Blackthorne Inn is located at 266 Vallejo Avenue
almost at the end of the road on the right hand side.
We have a fairly steep driveway, with five parking spots
available, including the steep paved area. |
